He’s Trying to say p-rod is better because “Rodney only does switch tricks on flatground and P-Rod does? then on rails” That typical street skating wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Mullen. Mullen has no stance, mullen is freeking YODA at least! P-Rod is bobafett or han solo.
The way you worded that comment about Mullen directly suggests that you are comparing them. I would have worded it different. There is no comparison because none of these new cats can say that they invented anything or pioneered anything, yeah they take what was there and evolved, but a guy like Mullen was back then doesn’t? even exist now, not even the winningest contemporary skater Nyjah Huston is even close. When guys start doing headspin flips, or airchair 360 hardflips THEN compare.
rodney honestly shouldnt come up in the p-rod conversation i completly agree with TheVinyl420, their type of skating is so vastly different rodney skates a hybrid of freestyle and technical ledge skating, prod skates typical street style today and both are masters of their craft.?

no, I love Mullen too… I just think? comparing such totally different skating styles is useless.
I agree 1000%., I like Paul, Ryan, Huston, Chaz, Shawn etc.., But if it wasn’t for guys like the living legend MULLEN, NATAS, GONZ, CAB ( street ) and vert masters like HAWK, HOSOI, CAB etc… these guys wouldn’t be there. All they do was invented by this guys.
Also remember that even before them you had STACY, ALVA and the Z BOYS, so Knowing history is? all about, but you have all these new cats with lack of it.
I love watching how daring skating has became, but RESPECT it roots.

hmm yeah but p rod is clean both ways! ive seen rodney growing up as a kid and his switch? are quick flicks and sloppyish! when pauls are smooth and well spun!
have you seen his me myself and i video, ive seen rise and shine and it is not as tech as pauls? part. ya nyjah goes bigger of course but the stuff paul could do on ledges is intense, if you skate you would no that ledges are harder than stairs and handrails. Nyjah is good at switch but mostly at heels. paul is equally as good switch as he is regular, and i dont go to youtube that much, i actually go out and skate then spend my whole day on the internet.

Nyjah is way gnarlier maybe, but saying he can do everything prod can do is a joke. He literally could probably do less than half of prod’s me, myself, and I part. Nyjah’s got a bag of tricks for sure, but there are still plenty? of tricks he just doesn’t do.
I think the? things prod can do switch that Mullen can’t is pretty equal with what mullen can do and prod can’t.
