As this video demonstrates, the sport was dead…he single handedly resurrected it and made it what it is today, and that was after rewriting the rule book and inventing most of the stunts kids do today when aged 15. I’m 40 this year and I’m one year older than? him…we’re from the time of Star Wars and ET…kids of the 70’s. So many kids today think they’ve invented the sport. I’d say to them…never stop paying Hoffman the debt of gratitude he deserves.
