Thank you very much! Yes, it did not turn out as well as I hoped it would, but it was still a fun project! I actually made the backing track from the original using a trick with Audacity. You pretty much take the left and right tracks, split them, make them both mono and then invert one of them. It only works with certain songs, but sometimes it’s good enough!? If you search for “remove vocals with audacity” or something you should be able to find a video tutorial. 🙂
