dumb? ass
I saw Mat, Scotty Freeman, and Maurice Meyer on the Skyway Tour in ’86 or ’87 I think (getting old). Bob Haro’s brother Ron was the MC. I remember the first time Mat came on the scene. He sent in a reader photo of him, to Freestylin’ Magazine, when he was 13 or 14 getting around 9′ over the coping. When we read how? old he was and how much air he was getting, it inspired us. Happy late birthday Mat. Long live the Condor!
You could say Matt Hoffman is the? Tony Hawk of BMX or You could Say Tony Hawk is the Matt Hoffman of Skateboarding. Both major innovators of their sports and definitely Legends of Extreme Sports. Read your Book Matt, Always a huge fan. and long time lover of bmx. Thank you.
Had a chance to see? you in person here in PA during the 1997 Skyway Tour. You were incredilble on the ramp and a pretty good flatlander too if I recall. You paved the way for the sport man.
I remember when you were 14 and killing it. You, DMC, Holmes, wait I mean Moller….they just don’t make them like you guys any more. Crying over broken parts and no sponsorship money. I kind of wish BMX would? die and be reborn.
Maybe RAD 2 would help. I’d watch it.
