MY FACEBOOK: kyletgarrett.com TWITTER: kyletgarrett.com BLOG: kyletgarrett.com Check out the article! http “Mid 2004 and well into 2005, I was on a mission. Now with it being my Senior year in High School and a mountain of decisions to make regarding my future, the ONLY one I was clear on, was that I wanted to create my best biking video yet. I was feeling more uncertainty than ever before because.. I wasn’t sure if and when I was going to have the chance to make another biking video with all my friends graduating and moving all over the country to pursue college. Of course I could have hired someone, it’s just I wasn’t even sure at the time how I wanted my future in biking to look. I was feeling new pressures of moving out, supporting myself, working two full time jobs, and going to a little bit of college on and off. After heavily being influenced by other top pro trials and BMX street riders like Danny Macaskill, Martin Soderstrom, Jeff Lenosky, Ryan Leech, Harry Main, Dave Mirra, and many more, my riding style evolved A LOT over that year. Previous to this video, I had always mainly just ridden and competed observed bike trials. But I was so inspired after seeing other riders incorporate the technical aspect of trials into moving and flowing skatepark style riding, that I was hooked immediately! Learning new tricks and moves like crankflips, giant 360?s, bar spins, 180 tail taps over spines, wall rides, and backflips too! The world of big ramps, quarter pipes, and …

@korisifu appreciate that, thanks for the kind words:)
Awesome job! You have found a great bike that fits you well and it shows in how smoothly you pull off your stunts. Like it’s part of you.
@ksantana157 thanks so much, really appreciate that! ..that’s so cool! a good riding buddy of mine learned everything on a p3 and did amazing stuff! great to hear you taking action and makin’ it happen! 😀

@SingJiya i was at a place called “Real Ride” it’s in Southern California in a city named Lake Paris:)
Whats that skatepark called and where is it?
@MarkSawawzome hahaha, interesting comment. i’ve broken my wrist 3 times that why i can only use bikes with suspension forks now. and i’m not into “mod” trials biking on a 20″ or 24″ frame..
It’s a mountain bike frame, the suspension is holding you back from the transition from good rider to really good rider.
@mrmagic1809 hey! thanks very much! yeah, i love using a mountain bike doing bmx style riding, it’s a blast!:)
Awesome the way u used a mountain bike with a bmx frame
@THEhim329 hey what up man! ..thanks for the comment! ..yep, i’m definitely a trials rider, it’s just wayyy more fun doing street/park as well! ..that’s awesome, i’m not very talented on a bmx but really enjoy watching skilled riders! keep ridin! talk soon:)
i am guessing you ride trials aswell? 🙂 but this is pretty decent! i can just about do some of this on BMX, just not the brake stuff 😛
@crjtwister1080 Hey man! ..thanks so much for that awesome comment, I really appreciate it! ..in my experience, it’s much easier to learn on a 20″. Personally, I only ride 26″ mountain frames and always have from the start. Yeah, there is definitely a lot of learning time for the foundation moves in the beginning. But you really do start to become “one with the bike” after a while though ..haha. Tip: be consistent; everyday/week, that’s what got me to where I am. Talk soon 🙂
@Lemondude63 Hey bro! ..thanks so much! I really appreciate your kind words! ..I know I could be pro, my focus has been on building a business the last few years though. That’s really awesome that even though there’s not a lot of biking like that where you live you still go out and learn, I love your spirit! ..I’ll be releasing some new vids later this year too, stay tuned! Keep riding, talk soon! 🙂
@motocrosser Hey! Yeah, for sure dude.. Send me a personal message with your email address and I can send the song to you! My brother did a great job on it! Let me know, talk soon 🙂
Hey I would love it if there is a way I could get this song because I know its a custom made song, do you have a mp3 of it? i would love to bike to it.
@motocrosser Hey man! I’m pumped to hear you’re gonna get out on a ride because of my vid, that’s so awesome! STP’s are fun, I’ve ridden a few of them.. Thanks for the great comment! Talk soon 🙂

@TheBradford89 Nice! ..thanks for the awesome comment! That’s exactly how I learned.. watching videos online and going to empty parking lots after school and just trying random things, lol ..and then somehow quite a few years later I ended up getting sponsored and going semi-pro. Let me know if there’s anything I can help you with 🙂
