SELL? IT TO ME THEN DUDE?!
Holy crap hes? good!!
Hammer Bodyguards…! I still have (and wear) mine..! Thanks for the upload. I remember reading the publications of the time detailing how DMC was super-talented at both Flatland? and Air – Back then, you were judged on both for your total overall score. Cheers.. 😉
if you read some of the retarded comments on various ‘ol School vids you’d think the young riders of today think? they ride superior and better than everybody else. So obviously gay ass moves like these are totally basic to them. Hopefully in 30 years time riders will call Matthias Dandois a fag for doing gay ass tricks
These? are basic?
DMC was and? still is a LEGEND!!!
I still own an a mint 88 Haro Team Master because of him.
DMC was? and still is a LEGEND!!!
DMC has always been one of THE MOST talented riders alive: years ahead in flat and totally pro? on vert.
that decade? he did while he was going fast was awesome !!
1:13 is the sickest thing i have ever? seen
Man, these bikes were gorgeous. I had? an ’83 lazerlite back in the day. Anyone know why these new modern bikes have the seats lowered (ugly as hell) and the nice chromed bikes are no more?? what the fuck happened? ….. I guess it was just a different era. lol!!
I would recommend the hoffman strowler. Either that or you will have to build a custom frame. i’d? recommend S&M bikes. They can even make you a chrome frame if you want.
as sketchy as? that was, it was unbeatable in 88
I was there on the 2nd day of this contest. Didn’t get to? see him ride flatland, but did get to see him ride vert. I also saw Ron Wilkerson slam so hard he had to relearn all of his tricks.
he definately was way ahead of his? time there compared to the rest
– these? are not basic moves at ALL !!!!
when you consider that no one was doing any of what dennis mcCoy is doing in this video at the? time, and the combination of multiple tricks, dennis was really ahead of his time … he is the first person I saw in a magazine do a tail whip … true master
Hardcore… Lots? of energy in this huge run….! I bet he was tired at the end but it looked like he was still wanting to go but his time was up.
+1 on 23 years ago. I don’t think any of the kids in my neighborhood can do any of this, they just around a lot? and wear skinny jeans.
Great video from U-Tube. Dennis is using the whole course and the ramps. I had bought a couple of videos along time ago of the riders such as Dennis and Ron Wilkerson now legend veterans. They are incredible to watch. Here in this? video Dennis is working his ass off. There’s is so much going on in all the maneuvers. He is such a good sport when he falls or puts his foot down. His ridding style is a huge inspiration to the sport.
You gotta start at the start, in my opinion. Most guys now rarely use or have brakes, but in? the 80’s, brakes were the #1 thing. Squeaking has evolved into pumping, hops into rolls, and, well, BMXing is another world now that hopefully doesn’t forget its past… a past that ROCKED!!!
I am getting back into flatland looking? for a mid-school bike and people keep telling me you need something lightweight, you need to move away from the past, is anyone watching this?? Meh…..
It’s? a MASTER!
DENNIS rode a Master then and in this video. The Sport was too long and had slower? steering in the headtube for him. That i read in his own words.
McCoy was like that guy in school who was AP this and AP that, smart as heck, good at everything,? and you kinda didn’t like him for it. He was so advanced compared to everyone else in ’90…
