Canadian young gun, Mike Varga started to make a name for himself in the BMX world with a series of top-ten finishes in amateur contests like the Gatorade Free Flow Tour and the Recon Tour. Through the guidance and support of fellow Canadian, Drew Bezanson, Varga started to get a lot of attention from the BMX community.
Both a dirt and park rider, Varga throws down equally as big of bangers as he does incredibly technical lines. In 2014, at FISE he came incredibly close to landing the first-ever 1260 in competition. Earlier in the year he pulled the first-ever double whip to bar on a quarter at the Baltic Games in Poland. Varga is pushing the limits of park riding and proving to be one of the names to watch as BMX progresses.
When Varga isn’t riding his bike, you can find him poppin’ wheelies and doing donuts on a Bobcat. Varga isn’t afraid to let loose on and off the course
