It’s? their rehearsal room. That stuff is for whoever needs it while they’re working in there. Yeah. Sort of a kitchenette.
This was at the sitzprobe in Sidney. It was the largest of their three rehearsal rooms – the only one large enough to squeeze in the orchestra, cast and some media folks.
(Sitzprobe – the first time the orchestra? and cast got to work together.)
I would too, if I could afford it!?
Losing? him to London????
Broken sound? NO WAY! Maybe the sound of a broken man (especially after The Beauty Underneath when he confronts Christine… every? time I watch that part, I think, “she has brought him to his knees.”) But his sound is full and rich and absolutely beautiful!
– JB
Awww… he’s still sexy!!! Open your eyes!
But I do wish ALW would have expalined the difference? in this phantom’s face and all those who have gone before..like maybe he tried having some plastic surgery done, but it didn’t work out as well as he would have liked so he continues to wear the mask?
– JB
He blinks on the DVD too, you just have to look closer, and there’s a lot of editing on it and he turns away for part of the song? too. This is just one shot, straight on.
4x in 2 days?? Something wrong with your machine?? I watched this 5x or 6x each day!!! Can’t leave it alone!! I think I’m addicted? to Ben Lewis as the Phantom!
– JB
B ought it. It is WONDERFUL!!!!.. But the On-line version is better, sound-wise. Maybe it’s my? old TV set (not HD)
Love Ben Lewis!!
– JB
Ramin may be a tad better at singing this particular song, but after hearing his awful portrayal of the character, I? must say that Ben Lewis is a far superior Phantom.
love the way he still feels he? has to act out the song. makes for an even more enjoyable performance (if that’s even possible) <3
one of? the top best!
if phantoms? face was normal he would have looked like ben š <3
i loved the fact that in the musical, everytime it was a very dramatic moment, his eyes would bug? out XD i couldn’t help but laugh at the expression. he is a very good singer though
for some reason, i seem to like this? version a lot more than the DVD version
like? it, but I prefer Ramin..
I have!! I have fallen? once again in love with the Phantom!
Ok but? not better than ramin
he is my fav after Gerry <3 BEN IS AWESOME I LOVE HIS VOICE <3 he is better than ramin XD sorry Ramin fans I do like ramin but Ben beat? him as Erik XD <3
his voice is so dark and deep. its like a lullaby only richer in tone and depth. that’s what i? love about Ben Lewis’s voice
his voice makes a major extra emphasis on the more pain? and suffering of Phantom through those ten years that Christine chose Raoul
he’s my favorite? Phantom
I think, vocally, his performance here was even better than in the LND “movie”, if you will. It’s more raw and just? smoother/more powerful, in my opinion.
I love him so much.? His voice always gives me goosebumps. Plus he’s nice to look at. š
He also blinks more here than he did in the DVD version. =P
Ben is Amazing. His voice is like a dark soft lullaby in my ears. He should totally have an award that says “Best Singing Voice For The Phantom”. He makes the Phantom more torn for his love of Christine, more malevolent with his desires, more bitter and ashamed, and more vulnerable of the? piece of his heart that is empty that only Christine could fill (hence the lines “My broken soul can’t be alive or whole” and “I’ll always feel no more than half way real” he still waits to hear Christine sing)
