OMG…”What’s Goin’ On” Marvin? That was one of the worst renditions I’ve ever heard. I wish you were still here with us but I’m glad? I’ll never have to hear you sing that anthem again!
It is the national anthem – in my opinion, anyone should be able to sing along with their national anthem. The way? that the celebrities “make it their? own” prevents audience participation and thus reduces nationalistic pride. Can you just imagine how inspiring it would have been to listed to the entire stadium singing along? Impossible to do when you don’t know what the “artist” is going to do next.
Oh my god I like Marvin Gaye but? this is almost unbearable. I can definitely see the parallels between this and Alicia’s (even though this was supposed to be good and just isn’t).

He is so smooth!!! I love how he just remained true to himself! Its definitely very different but it makes me smile? because he is cool and would always remain that way.
I think Marvin Gaye? is great too, but this version is awful.
