Winter X Games, held in Tignes, France. It was the first competition of the Winter X Games held outside the United States. The events were broadcast on ESPN and Canal +. The event consisted of Slopestyle and Superpipe competitions for skiers and snowboarders on the sides of men and women. Snowmobiles delivered a program of action. The X Games is an annual sporting event business, controlled and organized by the American journalist ESPN Deportes, which focuses on action sports. The first X Games held in the summer of 1995 in Rhode Island.

The very first edition of the Winter X Games was held in Tignes in Europe last year, in March 2010. They were a great success! Three days of competition 66 200 spectators! Concurrent with competition is the X Fest, a festival of music and sport, which offers live music, athlete autograph sessions and interactive elements. Location is Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado until 2011, the X Games Eurpoe will be on March 16 to 18 in Tignes, France. Following the Summer X-Games in Los Angeles. X Games, there are other international competitions and demonstrations throughout the world, to be held at various times during the year. Games will be broadcast live on ESPN and ABC.

European Winter X Games in 2011, is the biggest snowboard event in freeskiing and snowboarding, It is the second installment of the Winter X Europe takes place in Tignes, France, on March 16-18 2011.
