Back in 1987 my sister and I made this video, I am pretty sure it is the first rider made BMX video. And by sending out this demo tape to potential sponsors, it helped me secure many sponsors over my years of riding. I turned Pro in 1991 and taught flatland at Woodward BMX camp in PA for that summer.
Great? video!
Awesome video, very professional way to look for a sponsor. Yeah, the first thing I thought was that this can’t be in ’86 because of the? funky chicken. This is probably ’87 based on the old school tricks mixed in with the scuffing ones. It seems like when Kevin Jones came along, all the hopping and balance tricks got tossed out the window. Thanks for posting!
Awesome video. Like you, I taught flatland at Woodward in 88, and this video brings back so many good memories from that era.
I agree that the earliest this was recorded was 87 or 88, judging by the funky chicken, freak squeaks, and forward side glide. Plus that model of Dyno frame is a 1987 model.
Thanks for posting it! Keep the videos? coming!
what song is??
There were no forward sideglides or funky chickens in 86′. I sure miss the good olde days when it only took a year to? go pro though ha-ha.
