Youtube.com | Vimeo.com TorontoBMX.ca | http On August 2nd 2011, @GraffitiBMXcop, Scott Mills visited the Wallace Emerson Community Centre with Toronto Star Reporter Kate Allen for a story about youth engagement, the police, Crime Stoppers and social media. We met up with Justin Eastman and filmed this video. A goal of the Toronto Police Service and Crime Stoppers helping out with youth engagement projects like this BMX bike park is to improve trust and good relations with youth. We also really would like to PREVENT violence through anonymous tips. The Crime Stoppers Leave A Tip tab is installed on the TorontoBMX Facebook page for this purpose. Just before attending the park when this video was filmed, an appeal video for yet another shooting in Toronto was filmed by the same Youth In Policing student who helped edit this video, working for the summer with Cst Mills. that video is here: bit.ly Keep our community safe!
